Tellico Plains is a small town with a big heart. In our community there are many opportunities to connect and get involved. Below are focal points of our citizen interests. Friends of the Tellico Plains Library is a non-profit service organization made up of local residents, businessmen / women and library patrons.  Our sole focus is to raise public awareness of our library's services, resources and needs.

Cherokee Womens Club

We're a group of women interested in town beautification, literacy, the Library, and events in town. We sponsor an annual Poetry contest for locals school. We are involved in many town events and decorate the town for fall and Christmas.
